Sports Massage Specific To Each Athlete | Wayzata | Minneapolis
Advanced Corrective Bodywork provides sports massage to serious and recreational athletes in Wayzata and suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Maple Grove, Eden Prairie, Orono, and Plymouth, MN. Sports massage therapy has helped many athletes such as football players, baseball players, golfers, tennis players, and even the weekend jogger, prepare for an event, reduce/eliminate injuries, and speed up recovery time.
Advanced Corrective Bodywork’s sports massage is specific to each athlete. A plan is formulated based upon the athlete’s sport of choice. Sessions are focused on specific areas of the body that are stressed and overused from aggressive and repetitive movements associated with the activity of that sport. For instance, if you have ankle pain or a pulled hamstring, instead of receiving a full-body massage, Phil will focus on your ankle or hamstring.
Sports Massage will accomplish 3 goals:
- Optimize athletic performance.
- Decrease injury potential.
- Support soft tissue (muscles, tendons, and ligaments) recovery and healing
